  • Spitfire Flypast at IBM Hursley

    The Spitfire Society organised a flypast of IBM Hursley a couple of weeks ago as a mark of respect to Harry Griffiths, the last of the original Spitfire design team, who passed away on 28th November. One of Martin’s photos below.

  • Life, the universe and everything

    OK… so a quick whistle-stop tour of what’s going on in my life at the moment.

    Jo and I decided to go our separate ways about a month ago – a shame, but that’s the way life is. Single again.
    The car’s lovely.
    I’m house-hunting with a vengeance, and am about to put in an offer on a lovely little place in Southampton.
    I got a payrise on Monday.

  • Life goes on

    Sadly sailing didn’t work out as Ben didn’t make it back into the country on time, but instead I went to Paul’s 25th party. We all dressed up as pirates and had a great time. There was Donkey Conga or something like that involved too 😀

    So I’m heading North for the bank holiday weekend on Friday, and it’s Jo’s birthday this weekend so it’s all very exciting. Because it’s the bank holiday on Monday, and she also has the day off, we get to spend the whole day together, a rare luxury, the importance of which cannot be overstated.

    Anyway… not much else to report. Work continues as normal with very little going on. Who would have thought life would be so unstimulating?
