  • I have been judged…

    and found wanting.
Kind of thinking of myself as a member of team bonklers now ^_^

  • Project work

Now that exams have finished, it’s time for the last-minute panic on the project. Which is fun.

Not much else to report really, except I went out to the Union with Strong and Rizzo last week. Haven’t had such good fun in a veeery long time.

  • Back to London, and exams in full tilt

Well, things are going OK I suppose. I got back to London a few weeks ago, and I’ve just got through the first week of exams. So far they’ve been OK, with one decidedly evil exam which everyone found hard anyway.

But on to more happy things. Having returned, I learn that Rob’s going out with Yuri… sweet…

I told May this morning over the ‘net. One of her first comments was:
hey, looks like u’re the only one who’s single in the house now.. haha

    HAHA?!
    *grits teeth*

Chance would be a fine thing…

  • Revision begins in earnest (tomorrow)

Vicky’s birthday party was good fun – it was good to see all the crew from down south again, even if it was in Durham. Durham is lovely by the way, and I heartily recommend Trevelyan college – the bar’s good and genuinely nice people go there, which is wonderful.

I popped across to Oxford to visit Xi this weekend, which was nice and relaxing. We walked around Magdalen College on Sunday, which almost persuaded me to take a PhD there, but I’m nowhere near clever enough for that.

In other news, nothing much happened today except me rolling out of bed in the afternoon and berating myself for not doing any work all day. I’m going to lug my notes to the uni library tomorrow so I can concentrate.

I’ve somehow managed to damage my left knee sufficiently so that it’s extremely painful to sit cross-legged or kneel down. I’ll see if it fixes itself over the next couple of days – if not I’ll go and pick on some poor unsuspecting doctor at the medical centre.

  • Relaxing, post outsourcing report

Having completed my outsourcing report for my individual project, I’ve taken the past couple of days off, which was nice.
However, now it’s back to the grindstone – lots of project work to do – it’s time to start coding!

Oh, and Rupert-sensei and Danny are now back after Christmas, so we now have someone to teach us at Kempo! My dogi’s arrived as well, so I’m now looking like I belong in the class (to those who can’t see I’m crap, anyway).
