Stuck on work atm. Completely. A coursework to be handed in at 5pm today, another tomorrow at 5pm, and another on Friday at 5pm. And I’ve done nothing on any of them. Quite disconcerting. Ah well.<\/p>\n
Went to the Union on Friday night though, which was a blessing. I saw Kris, Kieran, and Brad there, along with the friends I went with initially (Pete et al.). Pete & friends left early, so I hung around for a bit chatting to Kris & Brad for a while. A most welcome chance to occupy the mind with something other than depressing thoughts.<\/p>\n My Grandfather(paternal side of the family) passed away last weekend, so we went to the funeral yesterday. Hope you have a good time wherever you’ve gone to, G’pa.<\/p>\n On a more cheerful subject, I did manage to hand in a couple of courseworks on time last week, which was good.<\/p>\n etc. etc. etc. I won’t bore you anymore. \nHave been trying to get “george” – my “new” SPARC IPX, to run BIND 9.1.0, which has proved to be difficult. Turns out (Mike just told me) that the problem I was having was that BIND 9.1.0 requires a default value in some of its config files, which the old version didn’t require. Hence the new version breaking.
